Myth Around Plastic Rice - It in not Plastic rice, only 1% FRK is mixed in normal rice to produce fortified rice. And that 1% is made from rice flour by using well known method of Extrusion. Extrusion technology is commonly used to produce puffed snacks, soy Badi etc. So FRK is not plastic, hence Fortified rice is not plastic. Also based on login plastic is Rs. 120/kg and rice much cheaper than that, so no point of making plastic rice!
